Description :-
This 2 day minor oral surgery course will cover basic topics like exodontia, local anesthesia , disimpactions
to advanced topics like arch bar wiring, frenectomies etc.
A simple way of extracting difficult teeth will be taught with hands-on on live patients.
How to approach different types of teeth like a root canal treated tooth or a grossly decayed one.
There will be a live surgery demonstration of mandibular impacted wisdom tooth removal with step by step
discussion.

Learning Objectives :-
Extraction is usually considered the most difficult task with many complications.
This course will help you manage the complications & emergencies associated with extractions and surgeries and moreover help you
avoid those complications.
It will instil confidence to perform simple surgical procedures with proper techniques.
Other Information :-
Lunch & tea will be provided. IDEC will provide a protective gown, head cap, gloves & 3 ply mask. Participants are requested to bring any other protective gear they need (like safety glasses, face shield & N 95 masks). Registration fee once paid is non refundable.
